Trade2save.com is a used electronics marketplace where you can get paid for your old gadgets. We make it easy to resell all those used electronics and media. Cell phones, PDA's, MP3 player, GPS units, laptops, gaming consoles, video games, and dvd's--if it works it can be bought and reused and you get paid to be responsible.
Trade2save.com was created to champion the awareness of negative environmental impacts resulting from the overproduction of electronic instruments. Electronics companies pump millions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year and on average only 10% of the components are recyclable - the remaining 90% will join the growing mountains of e-waste. Many of these products are still usable but fall out of favor due to continual product "upgrades".
E-waste is not merely an environmental time bomb, it's a humanitarian crime as well. People who pick over landfills inevitably encounter our hazardous e-waste. Tens of thousands die silently each year as a direct result.
By increasing trust in pre-owned electronics and our marketplace, we hope that more Americans will embrace pre-owned electronics and by doing so save themselves money and the environment.
