Trade2save for Good has teamed up with GameChanger Charity to provide non-profit organizations with the software and operational platform necessary to monetize donations of Cell Phones and Electronics.

“With an estimated 278 million mobile devices lying idol or deactivated in the United States, the non-profit industry is seeing a significant opportunity” says Jim Carol, Founder and CEO of the GameChanger Charity.

With Make-A-Wish already on board and other top ten charities looking closely, the opportunity for non-profits is looking promising.

“… a good cause is a marvelous incentive to customers who would otherwise not have traded their cell phone in for cash.”

Chris Whittome CEO at Trade2Save.com “So many people have devices that they will never trade in. They haven’t yet been significantly mobilized by recent TV ads to trade-in their devices for cash… we think that the message to donate a used cell phone for a good cause is a marvelous incentive to customers who would otherwise not have traded their cell phone in for cash.”

Jim Carol launched GameChanger (Formerly Donate Games) after his son Taylor developed a rare form of Cancer. Taylor went on to recover and Carol has gone on to raise significant amounts for children suffering from a live threatening illness.

Make-A-Wish has had good success in their Vehicle Donation Scheme Cars-For-Wishes. Jarol: “If people are prepared to donate their cars in such large numbers, there’s a great chance these kind of people would also donate their used mobile and electronics devices too.

Customers who Trade-in a Cell Phone or Electronics Device to Trade2Save can also donate a portion of the cash they receive to the GameChanger Charity.
