First 2 weeks, filfillment makes big headaches as staff struggle to stay in control

Week 2 at trade2save.com almost ground to a halt as staff were inundated with more than 250 orders on Friday. Even wives of staff members came to the rescue through Saturday and Sunday to put things back on track. “This was  not what were were expecting” said CEO Chris Whittome – “For some reason customers just attacked the DVD movies and Games and we just couldn’t keep up with the orders… I was expecting things to maybe start picking up around Christmas and hadn’t really thought about fulfillment issues, but I guess word has gone around the Bay Area quicker than we could have hoped”. Trade2save launched 2 weeks ago quietly and through word of mouth people have started visiting the site.

Jesse Wakefield, Warehouse Manager adds “The prices we can give for trade-ins is more competitive than store – we don’t have the over heads like retail rents and dozens of staff, so in the long run, we can offer better value for money and a hassle free service as well”.

Trade2save is now recruiting for interns to help as the Christmas months draw closer, more details about how you can apply for a position will follow soon
